How to Export

Step 1: Go to Export Section

  1. From your Dashboard, click "Export" or "Audit Package"
  2. You'll see what will be included in your export
  3. Review the checklist

Step 2: Review What's Included

Before exporting, HIPAA Hub shows you:

  • What policies are included
  • What evidence is included
  • What training records are included
  • What might be missing

Check for:

  • All 9 policies are approved
  • Evidence is uploaded for each policy
  • Training is complete for all staff
  • Risk assessment is current

Step 3: Generate the Package

  1. Click "Export Audit Package"
  2. HIPAA Hub will:
    • Collect all documents
    • Organize them by category
    • Create a ZIP file
    • Include a table of contents

Time required: 1-2 minutes

Step 4: Download

  1. The ZIP file will be ready to download
  2. Click "Download"
  3. Save it to a secure location
  4. The file is timestamped with the export date
